The artist has reimagined this deity in an upright, anthropomorphic form, merging traditional symbolism with modern artistic expression.

The vibrant green, white, and yellow colors reflect Damballah’s connection to nature, fertility, and cosmic energy. Intricate patterns cover the sculpture, symbolizing the complexity of creation and the scales of Damballah’s serpent form. In its left hand, the sculpture holds golden bracelets, representing fertility, wholeness, or the cyclical nature of existence.
