S.E. Bottex 24 x 20

Bottex was born on December 25, 1920, in Port Margot, near Cap Haitien. In 1961 he joined the Centre d' Art.  He exhibited for many years at the Galerie Issa in Port-au-Prince.  Most of his works can be divided into three categories:  biblical themes, historical events, and scenes from everyday Haitian life.  He typically paints with bright colours and graceful lines.His work is exhibited widely throughout the world.
